Have just been Googling for well support groups, in relation to another thread, and came across the interesting account of the above holy well, from Source:

This sounds like a happy tale of successful, well-loved, and faithful restoration with a high level of community website.

This well, along with the Church, certainly has many Friends!

Fascinating stuff. Im all for well done community leads projects. Would like to see an arcaheological interpretation of the site though, see my other rants about archaeological briefs being ignored during restoration.
