Does anyone know if Endon Well, in Staffs, qualifies as a Holy Well?

It does have a well dressing.

Short answer is no.... if a Well has a well dressing it is not always holy. A casing point the prolific tap dressings in Derbyshire. Also Mompessons Well at Eyam is not Holy per se, it is dressed as part of a commeration of the plague. however, the Well may have other associations that do make it Holy I will check on this when I have a chance.

Cheers
